Mock project for testing the engineering layout. Tallyboard is an invented client; the copy and every figure below are made up.
The challenge
Invented challenge. Reports were assembled by hand from three systems every week, which was slow and left room for mistakes.
What we built
- One source of data. A single service collects the figures, so every screen shows the same numbers.
- A dashboard that loads at once. Pages are rendered on the server and cached, so the first screen does not wait for scripts.
- Exports that match the screen. What people download is what they were looking at.
